How Movement Changed My Life (More Than Once)
Continuing the conversation from my first 3 episodes, I knew I wanted to record an episode on the value of movement in my eating disorder recovery. Movement not only was an incredible asset in recovering from my eating disorder but it has given me community and a higher sense of self-esteem and strength. This week on We Can Be Real I’m talking about how movement changed my life (more than once)!
In this episode, I discuss the benefits of incorporating movement and exercise into your life, the different ways I have personally incorporated movement into my life over the years, and most importantly, how exercise was the catalyst for bringing me through some incredibly difficult times. To this day, no matter what I am going through, I prioritize moving my body every single day.
No matter your age or ability, I encourage you to find some type of movement that you can do that brings you joy. I guarantee you’ll notice the benefits instantly.
